Food Safety Assistant - Quality Assurance

Programmed are currently looking for someone with experience in quality or food safety seeking casual hours 2 days per week to join a well known snack foods factory located in Tingalpa.

In this role you will assist in maintaining food safety standards and ensuring correct protocols are adhered to in a food manufacturing plant. Prior knowledge and experience is required.

Please note, we can also offer additional hours within the packing or cleaning sides of the factory on the other days of the week if you wish to work more than the hours provided in this position.

Possessing your own transport is also a must as public transport is not accessible for this site.

About the Roles:

• Working in a food manufacturing environment
• Temperature checking of products and cold rooms
• GMP audits
• Assist with cleaning tasks to maintain site hygiene
• Exposure to many food products including allergens
• Forklift duties (if licenced)
• Checking machinery (platforms involved – not suitable for fears of heights)
• 630am-230pm Monday & Friday weekly (additional hours may be available across all departments)

About You:

• Previous experience with food safety and GMP essential
• Forklift licence a bonus but not essential
• High attention to detail
• Available Monday & Friday minimum
• Happy to complete a pre-employment medical and police check
• Own transport
